Under the leadership and vision of Jim Halas, Halco has grown steadily since its foundation in 1993. Whether it’s a custom home, a remodeling, a full renovation, or an addition to an existing structure, every project that we take from ground-breaking to completion is more than just another job; it’s a vow to deliver a modern home of extraordinary value that will stand the tests of time.
What do we do that makes the custom homes we build so special? At Halco, we have found that the answer is a blend of Art and Science.
We believe that the Art of a fine home begins with the way our clients want to live. The overall design of our custom homes are the embodiment of the homeowner's family goals, traditions, hobbies, passions, professions, and even entertaining style.
The Science of our fine homes is simple, but not easy. Halco utilizes the highest quality materials, most advanced construction engineering techniques, and craftsmen who are vetted for their competency, professionalism, and reputation.
Superior construction techniques, great design, and expert workmanship are the qualities of a Halco home or home remodeling project. We are able to build-in these hallmarks because of our terrific team and our sub-contractor partners. Company founder Jim Halas selects only the most experienced and qualified subcontractors to work on our projects. We require all of our subcontractors to have a valid contractor's license and to carry all required insurance coverage.
From Titusville to Cocoa, Rockledge to Viera and Suntree, and Melbourne to Palm Bay and Sebastian, we have served the greater East Region of Central Florida for many years. We are members of the Home Builders and Contractors of Brevard (HBCA) and the Melbourne Regional Chamber. Company founder James Halas holds the title of Builder Director at the HBCA. Halco is a member the Florida Home Builders Association, a trade association that "advocates and encourages the constant improvement of home building techniques, practices, and standardization of building codes in Florida."
