Halco Inc. is an established member the Space Coast Community since 2009. We have been fully Licensed and Insured General Contractors since 1983, and Certified Roofing Contractors since 2000.
James Halas
Owner & Chief Executive Officer
Jim Halas is on the Home Builders and Contractors Association of Brevard board as a Builder Director, and is a member in good standing of the Florida Home Builders Association.
A Licensed General Contractor since 1983, Mr. Halas is also a Certified Roofing Contractor since 2000. He has earned the distinction of Florida Certified Master Builder: Elite Home Builders, Remodelers and Commercial Contractors who are dedicated to excellence in building and client satisfaction. The standards for this Certification are more rigorous than those required by the State of Florida for for licensure.
With a broad range of experience, company founder Jim Halas has an established reputation for exceptional performance in all phases of general contracting. This enables the Halco team to provide clients, engineers, designers, and architects with quality construction, a profound awareness of budgetary requirements, and the unique ability to successfully implement design concepts.

Halco is proud to be awarded the prestigious 2019 Home Builder of the Year Award by the Home Builders & Contractors Association of Brevard. We are grateful to all of the people who have helped to make our company great, and especially our clients for entrusting their home building, home remodeling, roofing and re-roofing projects to us.
Founder Jim Halas accepted the award on behalf of the company, and took the opportunity to thank his family for providing the tools and projects that helped him develop his skills, for demonstrating how to treat customers, associates, and the community, and for instilling in him the motivation and determination to never give up. Mr. Halas also expressed his deep gratitude to his staff and employees for helping him to build the company, and to HBCA of Brevard for naming Halco, Inc. 2019 Builder of the Year.
